Elderberry Steamer Recipe
Warm up on this snowy February day with a Homemade Elderberry Steamer!
A few weeks ago when my kids came in from playing in the snow, they were begging for hot chocolate! I had run out of everything to make hot chocolate, and the only thing I had on hand was milk.. and of course Elderberry syrup! I whipped up this Elderberry Steamer and it was a huge hit! You can make it with ingredients you probably have on hand in your house! It is easy, healthy, and so warming!
This Elderberry steamer is lightly sweetened, and a perfect treat for littles and adults!
Homemade Elderberry Steamer
1 cup milk of choice (we have tried oat milk and raw milk)
1 tbsp maple syrup (or whatever sweetener you prefer)
2 tbsp J's Homemade Elderberry Syrup
¼ tsp vanilla extract
Dash of cinnamon
Add all ingredients to a small saucepan, mix gently with a whisk or spoon until well Incorporated.
Heat over medium/low heat for about 5 minutes (until desired temp)
Use a handheld frother to mix up for a few seconds. (You can omit this step)
Add a little extra cinnamon on top!
